Welcome to IDPhoto4Me ("we", "our", or "us"). We are strongly committed to protecting your privacy and treating your personal data with utmost care and transparency. This Privacy Policy details our practices regarding the collection, processing, and protection of information when you use our website and online passport/visa photo tools.
2. Anonymous Use by Default
The use of IDPhoto4Me is completely anonymous. Users are not required and are not asked to register, create an account, or submit personal names, physical addresses, or identification numbers in order to use our photo creation service.
Because user-identifying data is never attached to image processing sessions, once your browser session ends, the session state is terminated automatically.
3. Image Processing & Timed Deletion
When you use our free cropping and alignment tool, face detection and landmark alignment algorithms run locally within your web browser using client-side WebAssembly computer vision.
If you choose our optional Background Correction service, your image is securely transmitted to our backend processor over an encrypted TLS/HTTPS connection. Each uploaded file is assigned a random, non-identifiable internal filename.
Automatic 24-Hour Deletion: Our servers run an automated scheduled cleanup process that permanently deletes all uploaded and processed image files within 24 hours. We do not maintain any long-term facial image database, nor do we use user images to train biometric models.
4. Cookies, Analytics & Third-Party Services
We use minimal cookies and industry-standard third-party services to ensure site security and support service operations:
- Cloudflare Turnstile: Protects against automated abuse, bots, and DDoS attacks without collecting personally identifiable information.
- Google Analytics: Collects anonymous aggregated traffic data (page views, browser types, country of origin) to help us improve site performance.
- Payment Gateways (PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay): When purchasing background removal, payment transactions are handled entirely by secure third-party payment providers. We never see or store your credit card or financial details.
- Google AdSense / Google Ads: Displays non-intrusive advertisements to help support our free service. Third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
5. Server Logs
Standard technical web server access logs are generated for security monitoring, debugging, and traffic metrics. These logs contain basic request metadata such as timestamp, client IP address, user-agent string, and HTTP status codes. Log files cannot be cross-referenced with anonymous photo uploads and are rotated and purged periodically.
